Data Safety

A plain-language summary of what leaves your device and why. Mythic Modern has no accounts, no ads, no analytics, and no third-party tracking. Almost everything you do — your conversations, unlocked figures, trivia streaks, and settings — stays on your device only. For the full detail, see the Privacy Policy.

What leaves your device

Only four kinds of data ever leave your device — each for a single, specific reason.

Your Oracle messages

App functionality

The text you send to the Oracle and the conversation context needed to answer it. Sent to Anthropic (Claude) to generate the character’s reply — our proxy relays it without storing it.

Optional display name

Personalization

A name you may enter so the gods can address you directly. Stored on your device and included in the prompt sent to Anthropic only when set. Leave it blank or clear it any time.

Anonymous install ID & IP address

Security

A random install number (not a hardware or advertising ID) and your IP address, used only to rate-limit requests and prevent abuse. Not linked to your identity; resets if you reinstall.

Crash diagnostics

Stability

If the App crashes: a stack trace, device state (model, OS version, memory), and an anonymous crash-reporter ID, so we can find and fix the bug. Via Google Firebase Crashlytics — crash reporting only, not analytics.

Stays on your device

Your conversation history, which figures you’ve unlocked, trivia streaks, and app settings are stored locally on your device only. We don’t upload, sync, or have access to any of it — it’s removed when you clear a conversation in-app or uninstall the App.

What we never collect

Requests & questions. Because there’s no account, you can exercise most data rights directly in the App. For anything else, reach us via the address in the Privacy Policy and we’ll respond within 30 days.
